I have a client in the West Columbia SC area that has an opportunity for a Mechanical Structural Engineer (PE)If you or any of your colleagues are interested in discussing this role please click apply now.

In this role you will be working as a Principal Mechanical Structural Engineer for a client in the engineering and construction Industry. This position will be responsible for overseeing and approval of project deliverables. You will collaborate across mechanical structural civil and electrical disciplines to identify client needs and offer practical solutions based of field observations and communication.

This position is a direct hire need for my client and a permanent long term role. This is an inoffice role and must be worked on site.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in design of structural and mechanical applications
  • Solidworks and AutoCAD experience (AutoCAD 3D is a plus)
  • Bachelors degree in a related field (Masters is a plus)
  • PE required in South Carolina required (Or ability to get reciprocal license)
  • Proficient with FEA
  • Experience in construction
