As a Senior/Principal engineer you will be part of a groundbreaking Advanced DRAM research & development wet etch team. The position promises ample opportunities for innovation collaboration and testing a new dimension with Advanced DRAM. You will work directly with process integration and other process areas such as Dry Etch Metals CVD Diffusion Lithography & CMP. You will contribute to brand new and outstanding wet etch tooling & own the process roadmap to meet program and yield goals.

Expectations for this role include but not limited to:

• Technically innovate: Drive strategic technical or tactical decisions at a project and platform level by contributing to highlevel innovation feasibility studies; Regularly solves sophisticated problems before they become problems. Key challenges include vapor/plasma etching selective wet etching surface prep and high aspect processing.
• Technically Focus: Has the vision and technical skills to relate technologies and business plans of group and other groups projects; Actively builds Micron intellectual property; Aware of external technical advancements substantiated with understanding of the stateofthe art.
• Impact Results: Leads Micron IP into successful technical readiness and transition to program integration.
• Influence: Regularly drives product planning/roadmap platform features and functional area strategy. Successfully convinces management to initiate new projects.
• Skill and experience: Regularly interact with senior management to provide consultation and influence technical and strategic decisions; Crafts alliances with customers.
• Lead: Proven track record to lead multifunctional teams Technology focus teams etc.; demonstrates independence and initiative in proactively developing and applying new skills in the most critical current or future domains
• Mentor: Lead others within their technical subject area to achieve high levels of technical leadership; shares knowledge with others proven through mentoring coaching presenting etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in physics chemistry chemical engineering material science or an equivalent field is required.
• Suitable experience includes: 1 research completed during pursuit of a PhD and 2 years of relevant industry experience 2 a Masters degree and 5 years of relevant industry experience 3 a Bachelors Degree and 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in DRAM or Memory is preferred.
• Experience working as a process development engineer in a R&D environment preferred.
• Experience with coding automation and/or data science is preferred.
