Job Description
Cuningham is seeking both an Architectural Designer II (nonlicensed) and a licensed Architect to join our growing team. These positions are ideal for design professionals who bring creativity collaboration and a growth mindset to their work. Team members will contribute across all phases of design and documentation working alongside colleagues and clients to deliver thoughtful highquality architectural solutions. Whether on the path to licensure or already licensed candidates should be motivated by purposeful design and a desire to make meaningful contributions in a dynamic supportive studio environment.

What you will do:
- Engage in developing design solutions coordination and production efforts on a wide range of projects through all phases of the design in an iterative and collaborative design process through simple sketching 2D and 3D modeling as well as computational methods in alignment with project success metrics.
- Apply regenerative approaches to design and performance of the built social and natural environments.
- Plan develop and participate in design presentations.
- Develop and document projects through both creative design and technical detailing.
- Collaborate with related disciplines (consultants and contractors) for best design outcomes.
- Coordinate BIM models and documentation internally and with consultants contractors etc.
- Participate in construction administration activities with Project Architect and onsite staff.
- Assist project management and design teams with onsite observations and verifications.
- Be accountable for quality work in assigned focus area of the project.
- Adopt and proficiently use: MS Office Adobe Creative Suite Bluebeam Revit/BIM 360.
- Build awareness and engage with: Rhino Enscape Lumion.
- Participate in code review.
- Research and become proficient with wall assemblies waterproofing and vertical circulation. Research exterior materials and products.
- Support and perform exterior massing studies.
- Support and perform interior space planning and programming with with Specifications team.
What we look for:
- Bachelors or masters degree in architecture.
- 4 years experience working hospitality or themed entertainment projects preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office Adobe Creative Suite Bluebeam Revit/BIM 360.
- Clear and thoughtful communication skills (visual written and verbal).
- Daily discipline and time management skills that facilitate accomplishing tasks on time and a commitment to personal accountability.
- Leads with curiosity and creativity ready to help solve the design problems at hand.
$64000 $99000 a year
Compensation provided is based on our national range which varies by work location and may also depend on accreditation experience and responsibilities. Our talent management team can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
