Technical Inside Sales opportunity
This US Subsidiary of a German manufacturer of planetary gearboxes is in Charlotte NC and is looking for a Technical Inside Sales candidate.
What you will do:
- Provide commercial and technical quotations
- Offer technical support to customers and customer service
- Application engineering analyze and size gearboxes based on customer project requirements
- Troubleshooting gearbox related problems by phone and onsite
- Technical outside sales support for our sales partner
- Provide product training to customers
- Review customer requirements and provide application assistance to the customer
- Attend and work at trade shows
What we are looking for:
- Some college degree is a plus Associate and/or bachelors degree
- Experience in order processing and creation of sales quotations
- 12 years experience in sales of technical products
- Good English knowledge (read write and speak)
- Experience with ERP systems preferred and MS Office software (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
- Customer and service orientation
- Basic knowledge in most common types of gearboxes
- Basic knowledge in purchase order / sales order agreements
- Excellent communication skills and social interaction with others
- Willingness to travel occasionally
