POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Director of Real Estate Financing to lead our financing and loan procurement efforts for residential development projects and acquisitions. In this role you will be responsible to obtain and manage real estate loans and financing as well as maintaining strong relationships with lenders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with commercial real estate lenders and a deep understanding of loan processing and underwriting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead efforts to secure real estate loans and financing for multifamily residential acquisition and development projects.
• Develop and maintain strategic lender relationships.
• Oversee the loan application and underwriting process.
• Analyze and evaluate financial statements and loan documents.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with loan agreements and monitor loan performance.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and/or student interns.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Adherence to the companys mission and values in all aspects of the job.
• Bachelors degree in Finance Real Estate or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7 years of experience in real estate financing or related roles.
• Extensive knowledge of loan processing underwriting and due diligence preferably from the lender side.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven track record of securing and managing largescale real estate loans.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fastpaced environment.
• A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the highest level of integrity.
• Highly motivated with a strong desire and ability to learn quickly.

• Effective communication with all stakeholders including colleagues partners investors and other departments.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The compensation for this position ranges from $/year commensurate with qualifications and experience. This fulltime position is considered exempt from overtime pay under the federal and state wage and hour laws.
