Operate plant functions from the control room under the direction of the control room lead operator
Manage chip feed fuel feed furnace dryer and secondary sizing
Manage and monitor various levels and feed rates as instructed by the control room lead operator
Monitor spark detection system
Multitask with equipment alarms
Keeps detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
Ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner
Utilize skills to improve equipment optimization and reliability
Maintain logs record labor material and equipment used
Meticulous attention to detail; able to follow both written and verbal instructions
Perform other related duties and serve as a backup resource as assigned
Submit reports in accordance with reporting directives
Details to know:
High school diploma or equivalent education; trade school or college preferred.
One year of inplant manufacturing experience
Ability to work independently and utilize critical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to generate and implement solutions throughout the process
Must have proficient computer skills
Knowledge or ability to learn how to operate HMI touchscreens
Must possess basic math skills
Must maintain compliance with all LOTO confined space hot work and working at heights policies
OSHA 10 training and experience
Ability to work extended hours to include nights weekends and holidays
Ability to continuously walk or stand bend squat climb stairs and lift items above shoulders
Ability to work outdoors rotating shifts and lift 50 pounds required
$20 $22 an hour
