What youll do
As aSenior Full Stack Software Engineer youll play a critical role in designing building and maintaining the software that powers our DNA On Demand platformfrom the web console to instrument control.
Your mission:
Lead the development and maintenance of our webbased Console application (TypeScript React NestJS)
Shape UX/UI workflows based on realworld user feedback.
Take part in software architecture discussions and code reviews
Work with the QA team on software testing.
Support field engineers with debugging and troubleshooting.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with scientists engineers and product managers to define features and validate requirements.
Mentor other teams (bioinformatics data science) on software skills and best practices.
Contribute to documentation and help with software deployment and DevOps activities.
- Own your projects meet deadlines and deliver quality software.
What were looking for
Required:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related technical field.
- 36 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience withTypeScript (or JavaScript) and web development.
- Familiarity withReactNestJS or similar modern web frameworks.
- Good understanding of software design and architecture principles.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a diverse team.
- Comfortable using Git and modern CI/CD tools.
- Good English communication skills able to participate in conversations and read and write effectively in English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge ofLinux/Unix environmentsPythonMQTTProtocol Buffers.
- Expertise in objectoriented programming
- Experience inbiotechinstrumentation orembedded systems IoT.
- Interest or experience inmentoringinterns contractors or junior developers.
