Job Description

Location: Glasgow City Centre or Central London (Holborn)

Hours: Full or parttime position available

Working pattern: A minimum of 3 days 21 hours) required up to 5 days 35 hours)

Hybrid Working: Office based role with flexibility to work elsewhere on occasion

Salary:Competitive (dependent on experience)

The role:

Were looking for a MedicoLegal Adviser to join our dedicated and passionate Medical Division on a permanent basis.

We are open to applications on a full and parttime basis for both our London and Glasgow offices.

About the role:

As a MedicoLegal Adviser you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and assistance to MDDUS members.

As a pivotal part of our team you will champion membership and development initiatives aligning seamlessly with our corporate and financial objectives.

Your commitment will be instrumental in upholding our values putting our members at the forefront of everything that we do.

Who we are looking for:

Were in search of candidates who are passionate about supporting healthcare professionals and can add real value to the care of our members while supporting with medicolegal matters.

Your insights and experience of general practice or secondary care across the UK will be your greatest asset combined with experience of or an interest in medical law and ethics.

Minimum Requirements for the Role:

  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
  • Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practise.
  • Postgraduate medical qualifications such as Royal College membership or equivalent.
  • A masters degree in medical law LLB postgraduate diploma in law or membership of the Bar (practising or nonpractising) is desirable or you may be working towards this

These minimum requirements ensure that applicants possess the necessary medical and legal qualifications to fulfil the role effectively.
