Key Responsibilities
The job holder is located in HAP Service Center and reports to the HAP Service Supervisor and in his / her
absence directly to the HAP Service Manager.
The job holder should have relationship building skills Good Product Knowledge regarding HVAC products
primarily in VRF & Inverter AC System. He may also possess technical knowledge in Package AC
Ducted Split AC Chillers MPS Room Air conditioners such Split Window Cassette Free standing
Portable well versed in the installation repairs maintenance and servicing product operation and usage
good communication and customer service skills. The person should be aggressive with lots of positive
energy self motivated & an excellent team player. Personal qualities like honesty integrity and respect
for all are very important.
These qualities should reflect in the job holders interaction with customers colleagues supervisors
supplier etc. The job holder acts strictly within the rules policies and procedures of the company.
1. Perform related services (Installation refixing service and / or repair) on customer product in
house or in workshop
2. Perform emergency corrective maintenance in the field utilizing indepth troubleshooting of a wide
variety of tool models and peripheral equipment.
3. Well versed with ERROR CODES Logics and software guided trouble shooting
4. Should possess hands on knowledge of Central control systems
5. Knowledge on BMS is desirable
6. Assist customers with modifications/retrofits of equipment to existing systems.
7. Achieve financial objectives by ensuring timely submission of invoices billing and collection;
monitor expenditures
8. Achieve goal of RTAT of >90 of calls in 72 hours call back less than 3.5
9. Provide technical support to all distributors dealers & hypermarkets.
10. Provide technical support to other Field Service Technicians in the field.
11. Provide indepth troubleshooting via phone with customers in the field.
12. Report Quality issues to management and follow through on corrective actions
13. Accurately and in a timely manner complete all paperwork (job card fillings signatures)
associated with trips and in house repairs.
14. Provide support to Customer Service Center (SVC) regarding identification of repair parts issues
for customer spare parts orders.
15. Informing Sales & Service Executive (SSE) of service related issues in their area and coordinate
any service leads with the appropriate Solution.
16. Assist customers via phone and in the field on application and process related issues.
17. Assist SVC with identification of warranty vs. nonwarranty issues.
18. Ensure availability of Spares and services by confirming with stores; Informing & maintaining
inventories with required spare part details.
19. Adhere to safety standards in the field and at customer locations.
20. Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean workshop environment.
21. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trainings.
22. Develop Product solutions by studying information needs; conferring with customers; studying
technical catalogues data services and work processes; investigating problem areas; following
the product development.
23. Assist Training Department as necessary with inhouse and onsite training for both standards
and nonstandard training courses.
24. Maintain vehicle by following policies and procedures completing proper documentation and
service schedules.
25. Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
26. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
27. Developing Product solutions by studying information needs; conferring with customers; studying
technical catalogues data services and work processes; investigating problem areas; following
the product development.
28. Providing information by collecting analyzing and summarizing development and service issues.

30. Load and unload vehicles with equipment from customer location to office

Person Specification
Qualifications Skills & Experience Required
ITI/ Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning with HVAC specialization
Previous work experience of 25 Years in HVAC of which at least 3 years are in VRF & Inverter AC trouble
shooting & service.
Candidates with prior experience in LG Multi V Daikin VRV Mitsubishi/Trane VRF shall be preferred
4W Drivers licence desirable
Physically fit; able to stand for extended periods and lift items of reasonable weight
Able to work shift work
Good literary and numeracy; Able to read and write in English
Excellent people skills and able to work with others
Good time management able to work to deadlines and meet operational targets
English is the language of the business however the ability to speak Arabic is an advantage
