Job Description
The Opportunity
This isnt a support role. This is a builders seat.
Youll lead the engineering setup of a brandnew plant in Perth everything from layout to first product out. Youll work alongside the Project Manager Workshop Manager and be backed by our Brisbane manufacturing & engineering teams to turn an empty shed into a highperformance operation.
Build from zero design the layout equipment systems and how the place runs.
Solve real problems no writing reports just make it happen. First production starts in September.
Launchpad role this plant is key to our global expansion and youre the one engineering it.
Endtoend from planning and install to training and continuous improvement.
Serious backing proven systems smart people and full commitment from the founder.
The Role
This is a twophase role get the plant running then make it faster better and more reliable.
Phase 1 Setup & Commissioning 06 months):
Specify install and commission equipment.
Fit out the facility layout utilities safety.
Develop SOPs work instructions and process docs.
Train and support new Perth operators.
Deliver plant readiness for first production runs.
Phase 2 Run & Improve 624 months):
Own ongoing manufacturing processes and reliability.
Run CI and LEAN projects to boost efficiency uptime and quality.
Design workflow and workcell improvements.
Deliver capital projects (tooling jigs upgrades new processes).
Collaborate with the Brisbane engineering & manufacturing team.
Youll be setting up our 2nd plant for our Abrasiguard product highperformance slurry piping for the mining industry. We have the facility secured long lead equipment on order and are ready to go.
Nail this role and the next move is yours to earn. Lead our next plant build run one of our plants or step into a different leadership role if youre good enough the path is wide open.

80/20 machine you make decisions and get to the smartest win fast. No paralysis by analysis.
Bias for action you dont wait you act. You move take action and keep going forwards relentlessly.
Highly accountable you take charge own the outcome and figure things out. No excuses.
Youre not:
A CADonly engineer if youd rather design in theory than get your boots dirty this is the wrong gig.
A clockwatcher if youre here to cruise coast or wait to be told what to do youll get steamrolled.
A corporate passenger if your default move is to delegate delay or dodge you wont last long here.
What Youve Done
Min 3 years manufacturing engineering you know what good looks like on the shop floor.
Capital projects youve helped set up new facilities or commission new equipment.
Lean thinking youve led Kaizen on the shop floor jigs tooling process fixes the lot.
Bonus points if youve worked with steel fabrication coatings and linings before.
