Job Description
Were currently seeking a Project Manager Innovation to join our Headquarters team!
The Project Manager Innovation is responsible for coordinating remodel renovation and rebrand construction projects for Mister Car Wash locations. Leveraging handson knowledge of commercial construction and excellent project management skills Project Manager works closely with internal teams and external vendor partners to upgrade existing locations on time within budget and at a level of quality that meets or exceeds Misters standards.
What You Will Do:
- Manage remodel renovation and rebrand construction projects with competing deadlines from conception to completion.
- Determine the resources (e.g. time money equipment) needed to create manage and fulfill project budgets within approved limits.
- Apply value engineering principles to increase facility value.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with general contractors and thirdparty vendor partners.
- Negotiate terms of agreements and review bids and contracts.
- Review construction documents for conformity to Mister standards.
- Order equipment and work with internal support teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Keep projects on track and minimize disruption to site operations through proper planning and creative problemsolving.
- Prepare regular project progress reports for internal stakeholders.
- Track and analyze project flow and outcomes to identify improvements to Misters best practices.
How You Will Shine:
- Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
- 7 years of experience in construction project management (car wash experience a plus).
- Ability to travel 45 of the time).
- Skill at reading blueprints/schematics and extensive knowledge of current building codes.
- Ability to work and collaborate remotely with limited direct supervision.
- Excellent communication writing and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure act decisively and maintain flexibility in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Microsoft Project and construction management software packages (e.g. Procore).
