Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8 hour shifts between the core hours of 6 AM and 6 PM.

As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing highquality costeffective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioneror Physician Assistant to:

  • Provide comprehensive care to Emergency General Surgery (EGS) patients with varying acuity and diagnoses.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide consistent highquality care to our patients.
  • Participate in daily rounding and multidisciplinary rounds on adult EGS patients.
  • Assist with bedside procedures.
  • Assist with patient admissions and discharges from the General Surgery teams.
  • Communicate across multiple care teams for inpatient management and consulting teams.
  • Manage postoperative EGS patients.

Education:

Minimum

If Nurse Practitioner:

Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant:

Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum

If Nurse Practitioner:Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin ANDactive board certification as a NP in Family Adult Adult/Gero Primary Care or Adult/Gero Acute Care.

If Physician Assistant:Active PA license in State of Wisconsin ANDactive PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have:Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
