If you are an Engineering professional looking for the next step in your career our Sidney OH location has an opportunity for you! As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer you will support critical assembly projects and processes in order to achieve safety quality efficiency and cost objectives.Based out of Sidney OH this position will collaborate with employees at all levels across multiples sites of the organization and travel to domestic and international manufacturing locations.
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer You Will:
Participate in crossfunctional teams to provide design and costing input for manufacturing and new product/process changes.
Coordinate and manage projects to design procure qualify and implement equipment and manufacturing processes while maintaining project schedules and budgets.
Work with outside integrators and machine builders to confirm new equipment meets design requirements and performs as expected.
Apply practical automation LEAN principles and develop plant layoutsand material handling solutions for highvolume manufacturing assembly lines.
Perform PFMEAs capability studies Gage R&R and other statistical analyses as needed to verify and qualify production processes and equipment.
Provide support for special customer samples pilot and engineering compressor builds.
Interface with Copeland manufacturing facilities to gain an understanding of their needs and how best to meet them.
Develop documentation for use by operators andmaintenance technicians to perform their duties and assist them in troubleshooting.
Required Education Experience & Skills:
Degree in Engineering Field (preferably Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technology Electrical Engineering Quality Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and proven ability to apply creative thinking to address sophisticated problems.
Must be able to interpret technical drawings
Experience making datadriven decisions
Shown digital literacy including MS Words Excel PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse work groups to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Ability to travel up to 25. Travel will predominantly be in the U.S. and Mexico with the potential of travel to Europe/Asia.

Preferred Education Experience & Skills
Proven understanding of Lean Manufacturing and its methodologies
Experience with 3D Modeling (NX)
Understanding of assembly processes
Five 5 years of engineering experience
Onsite Work Arrangement:
This role is based fully onsite and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
