About the role:As an experienced SAP Basis Consultant you will deliver innovative business consulting ranging from business process design to application modelling and systems integration. You will leverage your subject matter expertise and leadership capabilities to ensure successful project delivery and client success. This role offers unique career opportunities and access to a vast and diverse network of talented SAP professionals.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Participate in new and existing SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Develop solutions using the latest technology and tools.
- Provide technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Design SAP landscapes and recommend futureproof architectures.
- Advise on technical infrastructure and solutions.
- Improve system performance and address chronic issues.
- Manage SAP technical installations configurations and support technical project implementations.
- Design current landscapes and develop roadmaps for future SAP landscape implementations including HANA.
- Lead projects implementing HANA solutions and work closely with local and offshore resources.
The successful candidate:The successful candidate must be able to satisfy the following criteria:
- Strong experience in SAP Basis/NetWeaver installations upgrades configurations and maintenance.
- Proficiency in SAP Basis skills on Operating Systems (Windows Linux Unix) and Databases (Oracle Sybase HANA).
- Experience writing Unix and Linux commands along with cluster administration.
- Daily monitoring of incidents and ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Knowledge and experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in NetWeaver ABAP Stack Java Stack and S4HANA.
- Experience in system refresh activities system health checks batch job management RFCs spool management and scheduling system backups.
- Knowledge or work experience in cloud platforms (Azure AWS Google Alibaba SAP Cloud) is a plus.
- Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience in AMS projects with a thorough understanding of Incident/SR/Change management processes.
- SAP HANA experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and Gateway is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive selfdriven and takes ownership of work.
Whats on offer
This contract is available for an initial 6 month 12 months with highly likely extensions.
Located in Ballarat Melbourne. This role requires candidates to be on site.
