KeyResponsibilities
FinancialandManagementReporting&Analysis
- Responsiblefordaytodayaccountingensuremanagementaccountingreportingistimelyaccurateandprovideanalysisofoperatingperformanceprovidingcommercialinsightstodriveoperationalperformanceandprofitabilityimprovements.
- Preparationofmonthlygroupandbusinessunitlevelmanagementandboardreportingincludingconsolidatedincomestatementsbalancesheetsandstatementofcashflowsandtrendanalysis.
- Reviewandanalysisofthebusinessunitgrouplevelperformanceagainstbudgetsforecastsandkeydriversoffinancialperformanceandtrendanalysis.
- Fullownershipofpreparationofallfinancialstatementsandassociatedworkpapersschedulestomeetauditandbankrequirements.
Audit&Taxcompliance
- AssistFinancialControllertocoordinateendtoendmanagementoftheauditprocess.
- Manageallkeyaspectsoftheexternalauditandqueries.
- Manageallaspectsoftaxcompliance(monthlyquarterlyandannual)includingincometaxpayrolltaxFBTGSTetc.
ControlsandGovernance
- Ensurerobustfinancialcontrolsandprocessesareinplacetomanageandreportaccuratelyallrevenueexpensesassetsandliabilities.
- Overseetheongoingmaintenanceofaccountingandreportingsystemsrelatedspecificallytotheprocessingoffinanceandbusinesstransactionsincludingthefollowingsystems:MYOBPayroll(EmploymentHero).
- PreparationofgeneraljournalentriestoreflectcorrectaccountingtreatmentinaccordancewithcompanypoliciesGAAPandIFRS.
- Reconciliationofgeneralledgeraccounts.
- Preparationofacquisitionaccountingandcompletionaccountstogetherwithsupportingtechnicalaccountingpapers.
Systemsdevelopmentandprocessimprovement
- InvolvementinkeyfinanceprojectsandbeingtheSME/Championforthesystemmaintenanceandadministrativematters.
- OngoingdevelopmentadministrationandsupportofBusinessIntelligence(BI)reportingtoolsasaprimarysourceofmanagementreportinginformationtobusinessstakeholders.
- DevelopmentandcontinualimprovementofbusinessprocessestoensureefficientandeffectivereportingsolutionsareachievedandmaintainingDataintegrity(onesourceoftruth).
- Supporttotheintegrationofnewlyacquiredbusinessestoensurerelevantfinanceprocessesandpoliciesarecorrectlyimplemented.
YourExperience
- Degreequalifiedinaccounting;CA/CPAqualificationpreferred.
- IntermediatetoadvancedMicrosoftExcelskills
- ExperiencegainedinBig4ideallyfrombusinessservices/privateclientsorauditdivisionbackground.
- DemonstratedexperienceinpreparationofIFRS/AASBcompliancefinancialstatementsandworkingontechnicalaccountingissues.
- Naturallycuriousandaselfstarterwithdemonstratedabilitytoundertakeaprojectattheirowninitiativeandachievequalityoutputs.
