Podiatrist Band 7

Direct Medics Healthcare Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and skilledBand 7 Podiatrist to join the Podiatry team based in the Knowsley area. This is an exciting opportunity to provide assessment treatment planning delivery and evaluation of evidence based highly specialised podiatry intervention to service users.

Contract is temporary duration for 2 months initially with full time hours required (Monday to Friday between 9am5pm). Salary from 46148 to 52809a year per annum.

In this role you will:

Support the development of specialist podiatrists and podiatrists via knowledge sharing and supervision to ensure competency.

Lead on agreed service developments aimed at service improvements (in line with Evidenced Based Practice) to improve quality within the service.

Management of a clinical caseload of patients with highly complex and/or additional podiatric needs.

• Degree or equivalent in Podiatric Medicine
• Current professional registration with HCPC as Podiatrist and responsibility for maintaining this registration
• Masters module/post grad qualification in relevant field of clinical expertise (or working towards) / postgrad qualification/equivalent knowledge & experience to masters level
• Certificate in Local Anaesthesia
• Indepth understanding of current NHS/government policy/Public Health/NICE guidelines on organisational change
• Experience in the UK working in acute or community wound management in the hospital or community setting
• Full UK Drivers License and Access to a Car
• Right to Work in the UK
