Job Description
Oversee cloud cost allocation and chargeback mechanisms. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor cloud spending and usage metrics. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate cloud budgeting forecasting and cost reporting. Analyze cost trends and provide recommendations for costsaving initiatives. Continuously seek opportunities to improve cloud financial management processes. Advocate for and promote best practices in Cloud Economics and FinOps methodologies. Utilize cloud financial management tools and techniques to optimize cloud spending and control costs. Stay informed on industry trends cloud pricing models and best practices related to cloud cost management. Work with engineering teams to optimize cloud resources utilizing reserved instances or savings plans effectively. Develop and implement strategies to reduce cloud costs without compromising performance or reliability. Monitor cloud usage and spending to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
