You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAgilent Technologies seeks a talented creative and dedicated analytical PostDoc to support our Mass Spectrometry acquisition and reporting needs.
This postdoctorate opportunity requires a fulltime commitment of 40 hours per week and is an exempt role.
The selected candidates will work onsite in Wilmington DE Center of Excellence. The position is initially for 1 year with the possibility of extending it to 2 years.
Candidate eligible for this role should have graduated within the last 2 years or currently are part of a college or university postdoc program and have not worked in industry after having graduated with a bachelors masters or PhD. in chemistry biochemistry or related discipline.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing and documenting reporting system requirements for OpenLab and MassHunter
Python code development for custom report generation
C or Visual Basic coding experience for scheduling
Cataloging custom reporting requests
Curating custom reports catalog
You will work with Agilent application scientists developing a thorough understanding of MassHunters acquisition and data analysis workflows. These learnings will help you develop a custom reporting workflow as well as advanced scheduling functionality. Under the mentorship of senior scientists you will have the opportunity to learn a broad range of Mass Spec applications and workflows.

Detailoriented and excellent communication skills necessary for working in a team environment.
Experience writing Python code for data analysis and interpretation.
Scheduling task design and implementation using C or Visual Basic.
Takes the initiative to move a project forward and seek help when needed.
The US pay rate for this position is $40.77 $43.32 per hour plus eligibility for paid holidays and medical benefits. Our pay rates are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum intern pay for the position across the relevant US location(s). Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including any jobrelated skills experience relevant education or training.
