Job Description

Risk Management Risk Reporting Vice President

The role will reside within the Firm Risk Managements EMEA Risk Reporting function which is a London based team dedicated in providing a diverse range of responsibilities related to performing detailed risk analysis creating comprehensive risk reports and designing and implementing strategic reporting solutions. The candidate will cover a diverse range of responsibilities to facilitate senior management risk committee and board pack processes performing detailed risk analysis coordinating regulatory and internal submissions. The London Risk Reporting team works collaboratively with Risk Reporting teams globally (across Frankfurt Budapest Mumbai & New York).

Firm Risk Management (FRM) supports Morgan Stanley to achieve its business goals by partnering with business units across the Firm to realize efficient risk-adjusted returns acting as a strategic advisor to the Board and protecting the Firm from exposure to losses as a result of credit market liquidity operational model and other risks.

What will you be doing
Manage and lead the coordination and delivery of senior management risk committee and board reports.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality reports and ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Collaborate with risk managers Business Unit representation and other stakeholders to identify and implement solutions for new reports data quality improvements and reporting infrastructure improvements.
Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects that impact Reporting.
Work on projects to enhance report efficiency and exploration of new reporting tools.
Manage audit regulatory and ad-hoc projects across regions.

What were looking for:
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Prior experience of data analysis or reporting role preferably at Financial Services and/or Consulting Firms.
Prior knowledge of financial products financial markets and risk drivers (preferred).
Strong leadership skills to drive data and reporting initiatives forward with the ability to influence and execute the vision and strategy of the department.
The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders both written and verbally.
The ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multi-regional team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to provide information in usable formats (proficiency in Microsoft office including Excel PowerPoint and Word).

The ability to work independently in a self-directed way in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
An interest in working in a fast-paced environment often balancing multiple high priority deliverables.
