To provide organisational leadership for integrated business planning and assist the GCEO in performance management. Working closely with the General Manager Strategy and Planning Chief of Staff and senior executives to embed practices and processes that integrate people tools and process aimed at delivering a sustainable integrated enterprise project office for SJGHC with focus on maximising value creation.
Lead the Enterprise Portfolio Management office (EPMO) to improve the operations forward planning measurement and implementation of key plans aligned with strategy and fulfilling the SJGHC Mission.
Provide leadership and project management support to the Chief of Staff Strategy and Planning and General Manager Strategy and Planning with respects to special projects (defined as unexpected and/or projects not initiated through normal business planning potentially highly sensitive in nature and/or would distract the project delivery function from already set priorities).
The Position
Accountable for the effective running and governance of the EPMO.
Drive continuous improvement innovation and accountability within integrated planning and the EPMO.
Ensures all projects and programs align with organisational strategy and risk appetite to deliver measurable value.
Establishes and enforces EPMO frameworks policies and standards to drive project management consistency and compliance.
Manages enterprisewide project prioritisation reporting and risk mitigation to optimise outcomes.
Builds strong relationships with senior leaders project sponsors and crossfunctional teams to drive collaboration and accountability.
Optimizes resource allocation and workload balancing to support effective project .
Implements measures to track project success ensuring initiatives deliver intended benefits and value.
Drives maturity in project management capability embedding best practices and fostering a culture of excellence.
Supports organisational transformation by enabling structured project delivery and change adoption.
Identifies and mitigates project risks and issues proactively to ensure successful outcomes.
Leverages project management systems analytics and reporting tools to enhance decisionmaking and visibility.
At the discretion of Executive Committee provide leadership and support to special projects e.g. operating model changes organisational governance crisis response external partnerships/ ventures M&A etc.
You will hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or possess equivalent experience in business development or operational planning within a large organisation. You will bring proven experience in developing strategic and sustainable integrated business management processes for large and complex organisations effectively managing multiple stakeholders to achieve business goals.
With a high level of communication conflict resolution and negotiation skills you will demonstrate the ability to influence others manage processrelated challenges and make difficult decisions that align with the organisations objectives.
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong project management skillset with extensive experience in managing complex projects processes and senior stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. You will have a solid understanding of the industry in which SJGHC operates enabling you to navigate its unique challenges and opportunities.
Your strong commercial acumen and ability to influence key stakeholders will help improve commercial conditions and drive the organisations objectives. Additionally your excellent written verbal and presentation skills will ensure you can effectively articulate and deliver both strategic and operational information to diverse stakeholders.

Salary: $185650 to $206278 per annum plus 11.5 superannuation
