Job Description Summary
GEs Power Conversion business part of GE Vernova provides electrification systems that are critical to customers power and energy needs for their highperformance applications. We work with some of the worlds major energy maritime and industrial organizations helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization including through our specialist motors drives and control technologies.As part of our Early Talent strategy we are partnering with Warwick University to create an ElectroMechanical Apprenticeship.
Job Description
Our BEng Electromechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship opportunity is a full Warwick degree studied over 5 years. On successful completion you will be awarded a BEng degree.
It consists of a combination of offthejob learning and handson experience:
Offthejob learning
A combination of oncampus facetoface teaching and virtual learning experiences designed to satisfy theApprenticeship Standard for an Electromechanical Engineer.
On campus teaching takes place during six oneweek blocks delivered by Warwick academic staff.
Onthejob learning
During the duration of the programme you will rotate through different departments in line with course structure.
You will be fully integrated in the teams working on real projects and creating value from day one.
We are looking for people who:
are completing A Levels this year and are expected to be awarded grade A in three subjects two of them being Mathematics and Physical Science;
are looking forward to starting a career in Engineering but want a more handsonexperience from day one.
