About the role

Were looking for a talented Sales Development Manager to join our Marketing team to skyrocket our inbound and outbound lead generation for both net new and expansion sales. You will directly manage our global Sales Development team and drive high performance develop and execute on strategies to identify and qualify highvalue leads optimize our ways of working and navigate the crossfunctional nature of this role at ease. You are passionate about fostering new and innovative outreach methods creative use of AI and making sure we are using the best tactics to drive quality leads to sales. This is a fulltime global role reporting directly to the VP of Marketing based in Finland.

What youll be responsible for

  • Growing the topline of both new and upsales by leading a team that generates new business opportunities for Sievo with the worlds largest companies through setting up qualified 1st meetings.
  • Managing global Sales Development team currently consisting of 6 talented SDRs located in all 3 Sievo offices. Recruiting onboarding and coaching SDRs and ensuring your team is reaching their full potential.
  • Balancing and continuously optimizing how to divide responsibilities in the team between inbound and outbound prospecting against Sievos wider gotomarket strategies and targets
  • Creating and constantly improving ways of working that drive and optimize SDR productivity and reduce friction in lead handoffs from Marketing to Sales. You are consistently ensuring we are using the best tactics and are sharing best practices across the team.
  • Effectively navigating crossfunctional collaboration between wider Marketing team Sales and Account Management/ Value Enablement teams.
  • Ensuring we are using the most optimal tech for prospecting including data enrichment outreach and AI tools allowing for personalization and efficiency
  • Setting clear performance goals KPIs and expectations and regularly tracking and reporting on key SDR metrics to evaluate performance.
  • Besides managing the daytoday operations of the global SDR team you dont shy away from occasionally getting hands on with prospecting yourself

The ideal person we are looking for

  • Proven track record in B2B Software Sales and/or Sales Development
  • Effective team leader and crossfunctional collaborator who gets things done
  • Resultsoriented selfstarter ready to lead by example
  • Effective communicator and presenter (in English)
  • Proficiency in using sales technology and tools such as CRM data providers and prospecting tools such as Zoominfo Hubspot Salesforce LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Innovative mindset and interest to stay alert with industry trends emerging AI technologies and best practices in sales development

What we also consider as an advantage

  • Previous experience in Enterprise B2B SaaS
  • Understanding of Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management or related fields
