JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Operations over sees our Purchasing Customer Service External Operations and Warehouse Teams to ensure our projects are ordered and scheduled in a timely manner and warehoused both safely and correctly. This is key position in our organization and one that requires extensive communication and collaboration with others to be successful.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and pad cuts for pad gain process
  • Initiate corrective action for emergent issues
  • Analyze process workflow
  • Work closely with GM Management team and other managers/supervisors to identify best practices in all functional areas.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Recruit train coach and counsel employees
  • Promote a safe injury/accidentfree culture
  • Manage staff levels wages and overtime accordingly with business conditions.
  • Communicate job expectations; planning monitoring appraising and reviewing job contributions.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Undergraduate degree in Business or relevant field (If no degree is held experience in a relevant position will also be considered)
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Able to work well in Operations Customer Service Quality Control Purchasing and Warehousing.
  • Knowledge of flooring installation systems pertaining to single family home construction.
  • Ability to lead and rally a team towards a common goal.
  • Highly collaborative and works well with others.
