BANK CARE ASSISTANT ELMTHORPE CONVENT OXFORD

12.60 per hour

The Salesian Sisters are a registered charity with an international congregation and are recruitinga bank care assistantto work on an as and when basis to join the friendly team at Elmthorpe Convent.

The convent in Cowley Oxford is home to a small number of elderly Sisters and is managed by SJOG Hospitaller Services and we welcome all who wish to apply for this role.

Weprideourselves on supporting the people who use our services in such a way to enable them to live as independently and dignified a life as possible in their home so it is essential that a quality driven and holistic service is maintained at all times.

Essential Criteria:

• Actively support the vision philosophies and values of the Charity and that of the Sisters of Mercy
• Able to work as part of a team
• Able to provide personal care
• Good communication skills
• Participate where necessary in social activities outings/holidays with people using the service
• Maintain confidentiality honesty and reliability
• Nondiscriminatory and respect for cultural and religious heritage of all people
• Able to work flexible hours over a 24/7 period
