Job Description Summary
Based at the HVDC Centre of Excellence in Stafford UK the role gives an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to innovate expand their technical skills and develop personally within an internationally recognised company in the renewables and grid sectors.As the successful candidate you will be part of a cohort of interns working within a 12month development plan that allows them to stretch outside of their core academic background that prepares them for successful careers.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Main electrical circuit design
- Electrical insulation coordination studies Transient & RMS Studies.
- Equipment lifecycle management
- Reliability availability and maintainability studies
- Electrical losses management
- Filter design
- Solution development and industrialisation
The Person:
- The successful candidate will ideally have completed / demonstrated years of degree level study in a related field such as Electrical Power Systems and Power Electronics or equivalent experience and be predicted to obtain at least a 2:1 at Bachelors level or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- Needs to be eligible to work in the UK. No Visa support will be provided.
