You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking dedicated and experienced Cooks to join our dietary team in a longterm care facility. As a Cook you will play a key role in preparing and serving nutritious wellbalanced meals that meet residents dietary needs and preferences while following all safety and sanitation protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cook and portion meals in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements.
Ensure all food is served safely and attractively complying with regulatory guidelines.
Follow specialized meal plans including texturemodified and therapeutic diets.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas utensils and equipment.
Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff to ensure a positive dining experience.
Support meal services for breakfast lunch and dinner as assigned.
Participate in ongoing sanitation labeling and inventory practices.
What Were Looking For:
Previous cooking experience in a healthcare or longterm care setting preferred.
Knowledge of dietary guidelines food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals for a large volume of residents.
Strong time management and communication skills.
Flexibility to work rotating weekends and assigned shifts.
