With more than $1.2 Billion in cumulative R&D spend we are setting up a Systems Integration Center of Excellence in Mumbai to advance Blooms Mechanical Thermal and Process Engineering capabilities.

We are looking for a Senior Director of System Integration to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This is a fully onsite role in Mumbai and will report to the VP Engineering based in San Jose California.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and leading a Systems Integration organization focused on integration of Mechanical Thermal and Process Engineering
  • Integration of solutions across Blooms solutions portfolio including Carbon Capture CHP Hydrogen & Marine
  • Oversee the design and development of mechanical thermal and process projects to progress Bloom Integrated energy solutions.
  • Provide visionary leadership and hire a world class team of engineers and technologists
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase performance and reduce the cost of Bloom energy solutions encouraging the adoption of the latest technologies and methodologies.
  • Attract develop and retain top talent within the engineering team. Lead and manage a team of design and test engineers providing deep technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Lead and inspire a team of mechanical system thermal and process engineers setting strategic goals that align with the companys mission and vision.
  • Implement best practices process improvements and performance metrics to ensure the systems engineering organization operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments stakeholders suppliers system integrators and consultants.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership functional teams and external partners to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
  • International travel to the USA Europe and Asia Pacific.

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in systems engineering and leadership roles. Desired areas of experience include Mechanical Thermal and Process Engineering
  • Established track record of building and leading an engineering center of excellence
  • Experience in strategic planning project management and continuous improvement.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical structural process and thermal engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and methodologies to test and validate designs.
  • Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis for stress strain thermal fluids and electromagnetics.
  • An advanced degree in mechanical chemical or systems engineering or a related field is preferred.
