AI Engineer (Computer Vision)

A fastscaling venturebacked SaaS company is building an innovative AI platform aimed at revolutionising a multitrilliondollar global industry. With backing from leading venture capital firms in Japan and the US the business has recently exited stealth mode and is entering a significant phase of product expansion and commercial growth.

We are now seeking an experienced AI Engineer specialising in Computer Vision to join a highcalibre engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to work on cuttingedge models take ownership of endtoend development and contribute to the design of intelligent scalable systems powering realworld innovation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3 years of experience in software development and machine learning engineering in a fastpaced technical environment.
  • Proven experience deploying AI models in production (not just research) across realworld use cases.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch TensorFlow or Keras.
  • Strong expertise in computer vision generative models and largescale ML pipelines.
  • Familiarity with LLMs diffusion models finetuning and techniques like LoRA.
  • Experience curating and utilising synthetic data for training and evaluation.
  • Infrastructure knowledge including AWS Kubernetes and Terraform/OpenTofu.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design build and optimise productionlevel AI models using CNNs Transformers and generative techniques (e.g. diffusion models GANs).
  • Develop and deploy realtime and batch computer vision pipelines to support use cases such as object detection document analysis and synthetic data generation.
  • Experiment with finetune and operationalise opensource models (e.g. LLaMA Mistral Stable Diffusion).
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional product and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into core platform features.
  • Drive innovation by staying abreast of the latest trends in machine learning LLMs and generative AI.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices including transparency fairness and scalability in production environments.
  • Optimise models for performance cost and deployment efficiency on modern compute infrastructure (GPU/CPU).
