Itron is looking for an experiencedNetworked Solutions System Program Managerto work as an integral part of our Program Management Office (PMO). In this role the Program Manager would manage and lead multiple simultaneous complex solution programs in the validation and integration of Itrons products into ODM partners solution to satisfy customer requirements. This requires coordination of crossfunctional Itron (Marketing product management hardware firmware software test regulatory manufacturing procurement quality delivery support etc) teams and ODM partnersfocused on delivering new or upgrading existing solutions. The Program Manager would also be responsible for monitoring the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Organizes crossfunctional activities ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead programs to deliver customer business outcomes for complex hardware and software development of RF/Cellular programs.
- Develop strong working relationships with cross functional teams across all levels of the organization and provide exceptional leadership to program core team to deliver programs on time within budget and with high quality while achieving excellent customer satisfaction.
- Perform overall solution program level planning and lead program of interdependent projects.
- Provide vision strategy and business objective alignment to lead end to end solution implementation.
- Engage with SMEs including system engineers and hardware/firmware/software leads. Influence stakeholders in the assessment planning and management of complex implementations.
- Monitor overall solution identify and report potential obstacles such as scope creep resource and personnel shortfalls and problems with schedule release delays and budget overruns.
- Track Partner deliverables milestones action items technical dependencies risks and mitigation plans.
- Owns Program as it relates to dependencies of milestones resources and tradeoffs.
- Report toBusiness and R&D leadership and ProductLinemanagementon potential issues and conflicts.
- Lead the identification of risks and issues and development of risk mitigation strategies and an escalation process.
- Communicate progress to all levels of the business regularly.
- Manage effective decision making with leadership and teams.
- Provide feedback on the performance of program team members.
- Oversee common use of Itrons development process.
- Maintain and upgradedevelopment process.
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
- Bachelors degree required; masters degree preferred (engineering discipline is highly preferred)
- 8 years of relevant experience some of that experience in program management
- 5 years of work experience either as a technical lead systems engineer or program manager leading Hardware/Firmware delivery of wireless devices from concept to production.
- Experience of working with international ODMs.
- PMP Certification preferred or an equivalent combination of education experience and / or training.
- Previous experience in program managing a large system release comprised of multiple products.
- Previous experience with successfully delivering integrated RF/Cellular systems (hardware firmware software) on time to scope with high quality.
- Experience aligning internal and external stakeholders on system decisions and tradeoffs.
- Experience establishing relationships across crossfunctional teams and external partners spread globally including diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in an R&D team & PMO organization.

Liberty Lake WA: The base salary is $96000.00 $184000.00.
