We currently have three physical Showroom locations throughout the NorthWest Region however our business is now rapidly expanding across America and the Caribbean with our proprietary stateoftheart software solution. The Job
- Analyzing work orders planning daily travel schedule conducting tests and resolving related problems
- Establishes service by studying system requirements; ensuring the appropriate parts and components are available; completing install and performing testing to verify the appliances are in working order
- Maintain rapport with customers throughout installation
- Documenting service installation actions by completing the appropriate forms reports logs and/or records
- Troubleshooting basic mechanical repairs to appliances
- Maneuvering of heavy equipment and appliances up to 1000 lbs.
- Efficiently and safely loading vehicles and general warehouse duties
- Maintaining equipment that is used on job sites and within the warehouses
- Perform additional duties as required
- Competencies are Communication Proficiency Computer Proficiency/Technical Capacity Time Management Quality Focus Results Driven and Supply Management.
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- This job operates in a warehouse and jobsite setting with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses equipment such as computers phones copiers and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks box cutters and heavy machinery (i.e. forklifts).
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs. frequently move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. and use of heavy machinery for equipment up to 1000 lbs.
- This is a fulltime position. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday; 7:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. with additional hours and schedule changes as needed for business purposes.
- Travel is primarily local up to 2 hour driving distance during the business day may be expected. Must have reliable transportation to get to work and a clean driving record per insurance eligibility requirements. Driving for work will be using a company vehicle.
- Pay is $18 to $30 per hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- 21 years of age per insurability guidelines
- Valid Driverss license and clean driving record able to meet insurability qualifications
- Previous delivery and installation experience preferred
- Experience in themechanical service/repair industry preferred
