Job Description
Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Secaucus NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 9AM 5PM
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 / hour
Job Summary:
A Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods around warehouses using a forklift. This includes loading and unloading trucks stacking materials and transporting goods within the facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a standup reach forklift to transport retrieve and store materials.
- Load and unload pallets from racks and staging areas safely and efficiently.
- Follow warehouse procedures for inventory handling and storage.
- Conduct preoperation equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Support inventory accuracy by following pick putaway and replenishment processes.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual English AND Spanish
- Valid forklift certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a standup reach truck
- Must be able to follow safety guidelines and warehouse protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
