Year 1 Teacher Richmond September 2025 Start
Year 1 Teacher required for a supportive welcoming primary school in Richmond starting in September 2025.
This Year 1 Teacher role is ideal for someone looking to join a childcentred school with a strong emphasis on early literacy creativity and emotional development. As a Year 1 Teacher youll be supporting children as they move from the EYFS into a more structured KS1 environment. Youll play a key role in embedding early phonics numeracy and social skills helping each child build strong foundations for the years ahead.
The school provides excellent mentoring and CPD making this Year 1 Teacher opportunity suitable for both experienced practitioners and confident ECTs looking for a nurturing place to begin their career.
Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons
- Support early reading writing and numeracy
- Track progress and adapt to individual needs
- Work closely with the KS1 team and support staff
What Were Looking For:
- UK QTS (open to ECTs)
- Strong understanding of early years development
- Passionate about childcentred teaching
- Organised and reflective classroom practitioner
