DescriptionThe Prep Cook / Dishwasher assists the Head Chef in the preparation and serving of food and related cleanup activities for patients and staff in an intimate Inpatient Hospice setting and to our Meals on Wheels subscribers. A quality candidate must understand good nutrition in the preparation and service of food and have the ability to maintain good public relations with residents families and staff.
Requirements - Some experience preferred in the food service field
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work every other Weekend and every other Holiday
- Proof of COVID19 Vaccination or an approved Medical or Religious exemption.
- Proof of Influenza (Flu) Vaccination or an approved Medical or Religious exemption.
- The physical requirements represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. Normal kitchen environment where there may be physical discomfort due to temperature dust noise and the like. May involve varying conditions and circumstances with residents staff visitors government agencies etc. Sits stands bends lifts and moves intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift push pull and move food equipment supplies etc. in excess of twentyfive 25 pounds.
