You will be updated with latest job alerts via email Responsible for the direction supervision and coordination of over 90 statewide CTE programs for Business Education Agriculture Education Education and Training Family and Consumer Sciences Education Marketing Media and Information Technology Education Health Careers Education Community Services Education Industrial Technology Education Professional Development and Curriculum Development.
Occasional instate and outofstate travel is required for this position.
Candidates should apply with the ability and willingness to work inoffice five days per week.
Provide leadership and supervise the work of program specialists and support staff
Conduct staff meetings and participate in division management team meetings
Provide direction supervision and coordination of the statewide programs for all program areas on the approved programs list
Annually update the approved programs list according to approved guidelines
Develop and direct CTE processes for new and continuing federal and state CTE and CTED Programs
Collaborate with ADE management and staff to determine annual program activities for these programs
Provide leadership and technical assistance for Program Development Technical Assistance processes and CTE Program approvals including guidance for emerging CTE programs
Develop and manage a professional development process for CTE and CTED Professional Staff throughout the state
Provide oversight of CTE staff relative to the management of Perkins and Priority grants
Interpret legislation develop related policy statements compile information and develop portions of Career and Technical Education Reports
Participate in or coordinate activities and processes of CTE program assessment standards development and academic integration
Guide Program Specialists and staff in developing and implementing strategies for databased program improvement to include but not limited to: technical assistance professional development and program development strategies

Applicants must have CTE teaching certification and/or experience.
Applicants must have supervisory experience.
Applicants must be a current ADE employee.
