Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for managing the endtoend supply chain activities while ensuring timely procurement tracking and delivery of materials to support our operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills a good understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors suppliers and internal teams Manages the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts methods and procedures to enable sourcing .Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the endtoend supply chain process including procurement inventory management and logistics.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials to meet production and operational demands.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Strong Followup with Internal department to adhere the SDR
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve delays address issues and manage changes in delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to coordinate material flow and reduce lead times.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory purchase orders and supplier communications
- Generate reports on supply chain performance delivery schedules and material status updates.
- Analyze data to identify trends bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and quality standards to maintain product excellence.
- Manages end to end Logistics operations
- Drive the control of inventory of Raw Materials and GIT/SIT as per inventory entitlement as well as ensure control over slow moving/Obsolescence as per inventory policy
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Diploma Engg from an accredited university or college.
Proven experience of 10 years in supply chain management procurement or expediting roles with a track record of successfully managing endtoend supply chain processes and vendor relationships
Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in MS Office ERP systems (like SAP Oracle) and supply chain management software.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Should have knowledge of Materials Import & customs clearance
