What youll
Join Tabcorp as our Senior Manager Security Operations & Vulnerability Management and lead our Identify Detect and Respond functions. Reporting to the Head of Technology Security youll oversee Threat Intelligence Detection & CounterIntrusion and Vulnerability Management to keep our customers deposits and data secure every day.
What Youll Do
- Lead & Inspire Manage a team of 7 across threat intelligence SOC (L2/L3 WAF L1 and vulnerability management.
- Drive Security Strategy Enhance threat detection response capabilities and overall cybersecurity posture.
- Be the Technical Lead Take charge during cybersecurity incidents ensuring swift effective resolution.
- Collaborate & Influence Work closely with tech risk compliance and vendor teams (e.g Crowdstrike Akamai ServiceNow Microsoft Palo Alto).
- Champion Innovation Keep your team ahead of emerging threats with cuttingedge tools and training.
What Youll Bring
- Cybersecurity leadership experience ideally in BAU operations & incident response.
- This role would be ideal for a current team leader to move to the next level.
- Strong technical expertise across security tools (Crowdstrike Akamai ServiceNow Microsoft Palo Alto or equivalents).
- Strategic mindset to shape the direction of the cyber function.
- Proven incident response skills acting as the goto technical lead.
- Exceptional communication & stakeholder engagement skills.
- Riskbased approach to security balancing pragmatism.

- Certifications such as CISSP CISM or GIAC (highly regarded).
