Overall Purpose: The Lead Logistics Analyst optimizes supply chain operations by managing inventory planning materials management and logistics processes to ensure efficient and costeffective transportation and distribution of goods.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
Inventory Planning and Materials Management: Develop and implement inventory planning strategies oversee materials handling and storage and maintain optimal stock levels to support seamless operations.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and inefficiencies generate detailed reports and provide actionable insights for decisionmaking.
Logistics Process Optimization: Streamline logistics processes to enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve the effectiveness of transportation and distribution operations.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement production finance and customer service to align logistics strategies with organizational goals and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Compliance and Supplier Coordination: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery contract negotiation and performance enhancement.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional recognized as an expert creatively resolving complex issues with broad and indepth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff implements longterm plans impacting the organization and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. Supervisor: No
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree (BS/BA) desired. 5 years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
