Step into a dynamic highacuity Emergency Department in Northern New Jersey and earn in the $420K range! This is a prime opportunity for a boardcertified or boardeligible Emergency Medicine Physician seeking excellent compensation flexible scheduling and a strong clinical support team. Whether youre a seasoned professional or a recent resident this role offers the autonomy of a 1099 structure with the benefits of a collaborative hospital environment.
What Youll Do:
As an Emergency Medicine Physician youll provide expert care in a busy modern ED supported by experienced Advanced Practice Providers and a full range of specialty backup. Responsibilities include:
Delivering comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population.
Managing highacuity trauma and acute medical conditions.
Collaborating with hospitalists and specialists to ensure toptier patient outcomes.
Utilizing Epic EMR to document and manage patient care efficiently.
Participating in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Key Details:
Schedule: 12hour physician shifts 7a7p 7p7a 1p9p) with flexible fulltime or parttime options.
APP Support: Daily 12hour APP coverage 7a7p 10a10p on weekends; 3p2a weekdays).
Clinical Support: Radiology (day/telerad at night) Interventional Radiology Psychiatry Anesthesiology ENT GYN Cardiology Neurology (weekday hours) Line Service Ultrasound Hospitalist coverage.
Compensation:
$240/hour (day) $250/hour (night)
Projected Annual Income: $420K 12 shifts/month 12 months/year)
Benefits:
Malpractice and tail coverage fully provided
1099 contractor structure for greater earning potential
Candidate Requirements:
Education: MD or DO; ABEM/AOBEM certified or recent residency graduate.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent hospitalbased emergency medicine experience preferred.
Licensure: Eligible for a New Jersey Medical License.
Certifications: ATLS ACLS BLS and PALS (all required).
Additional: Epic EMR experience a plus. Must be collaborative detailoriented and patientfocused.
