Job Description
We are seeking qualified Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialists to work with our consulting team at HETI (HydroEnvironmental Technologies Inc.. These positions are contractbased with hourly compensation and are primarily aimed at supporting our clientele based in and around Reno Nevada.
Opportunity Highlights:
Role: EHS Specialist
Type: Contract / Hourly
Location: Reno Nevada Area
Duration: Six months / 40 hours a week
Essential Duties and Tasks:
Assist in the development and implementation of safety and environmental policies.
Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations.
Deliver and manage EHS training programs across various levels of staff.
Conduct regular audits and coordinate regulatory inspections.
Contribute to continuous improvement in EHS performance and maintain EHS databases.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED; Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
3 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Excellent organizational communication and decisionmaking skills.
