Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. seeks Senior Systems Programmer Analyst in Boston MA to design and develop computer systems solutions to our modern Data Platform architecture to meet business requirements with high quality within given deadlines. Investigate common system component suitability for standardization simplicity high performance and robustness. Define streamline and record computer systems requirements. Perform gap analysis create proofs of concept/prototypes and design databases/data models for computer systems architecture. Identify coding patterns/antipatterns and enforce secure systems implementation through code reviews. Resolve production environment issues. Execute root cause analysis technology evaluation and performance tuning. Remote work permitted 2 days per week.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electronics or closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related occupation. Requires 5 years experience in Java Spring SpringBoot Spring MVC REST APIs Hibernate JPA JMS JTA Scrum/Agile methodologies SQL RDBMS concepts Junit Jenkins SVN Git and Maven.
