Description
GK Environmental Services located in Great Bend KS is looking to add an equipment operator to their team.
Summary:Responsible for operating various equipment; tractors loaders and trucks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Equipment maintenance and performing routine inspections.
- Cleaning and reporting any issues to mechanics.
- Maintain daily logs fuel usage and equipment maintenance reports.
The qualified candidate must be able to adapt and work in all weather conditions.
CDL preferred but not required.
Must be able to pass post offer employment testing.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. - Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Ability: Ability to read a limited number of two and threesyllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American weight measurement volume and distance.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
