Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations strategy design and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities generate brand enthusiasm and educate consumers. Its been over 75 years since we opened our doors but were still not resting on our reputation or accolades. The Purpose:
Czarnowski is looking for a Creative Director to lead inspire and help oversee design for our Dallas Design Studio. We are seeking a talented designer natural leader and motivating force who brings both vision and to the creative process.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong conceptual and executional design skills exceptional problemsolving ability and a persuasive presentation style. You must be able to communicate ideas clearly and drive a fullspectrum design processfrom concept to completionacross all creative disciplines including 3D 2D materials engineering and production.
Were looking for someone who not only understands current display construction methods and embraces interactive storytelling but also has a deep understanding of the customers consumer journeyhow people engage with a brand before during and after an experience. You should be able to craft compelling stories that meet audiences where they are and guide them through emotionally resonant multidimensional experiences that leave lasting impressions.
The Job:
- Lead and organize overall project flow deadlines and presentation strategy with Executive Creative Directors guidance to internal teams as well as clients
- Communicate with account lead on the project to meet deadlines and design objectives to ensure they are within budget
- Design dynamic solutions that clearly communicate brand goals and strategy
- Ensure presentations deliver the objectives of the brief and clearly articulate design solutions
- Help facilitate feedback and direction to junior members or other members on the team
- Communicate clear layouts for print production art files estimating and production documentation
- Manage the handoff process from Design to engineering through
- Present and check in with Executive Creative Director throughout the duration of the project
- Ability to effectively present and communicate to management and clients
- Inspire the team through energy and optimism pushing the envelope to advance the program and its goals
- Some traveling may be required as well as extended hours at night weekends and during holidays
The Person:
- BFA in industrial or graphic design or equivalent
- 8 years of industry experience
- Good understanding of technologies materials & techniques
- Ability to understand a brand at its core and then translate it into other experiential mediums
- Exceptional design aesthetics and ability to constantly adapt to meet a breadth of brand styles and mediums
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills across all mediums
- High performance/high productivity mentality
- Experience working in large format graphics & 3dimensional environments
- Mastery of design tools including 3DS Max Rhino Adobe Photoshop Illustrator InDesign
- Understanding of photography and image manipulation techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a creative team
- Organizational skills
- Exceptional time management skills ability to balance multiple projects at one time while insuring quality and consistency.
- 3D knowledge is a plus
