Horticultural Maintenance Worker

This is a contract position until December 2025.

Parttime may be considered for the right applicant.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

• Participates in the mowing programs of Council verges to ensure that areas are well presented for the enjoyment of our community.
• Levels of public cleanliness are maintained including removal of illegally dumped rubbish.
• General horticultural maintenance.
• Operates and maintains plant equipment and tools associated with the duties of the position.

The successful applicant will have:

• Current MR Truck license is essential.
• AQF Certificate III in Horticulture or similar is desirable.
• Experience in the use of mowing machinery and equipment.

This is a Grade 1 4 position (depending on qualifications) which has a current salary band of $78916 $83656 per annum (plus superannuation).
