Job Description

Job Title: Debt Advisory – Investment Banking

Experience: 6 to 8 years

Location: Mumbai

About the Role:

The Debt Advisory professional will be responsible for executing debt advisory and syndication transactions building lender and investor relationships and conducting financial and market analysis. The role involves extensive financial modeling capital structuring and preparing transactionrelated documentation to support deal . This position requires a strong understanding of debt markets credit structuring and investment opportunities across various sectors.

Job Description:

Debt Advisory & Syndication

Lead endtoend of debt advisory and syndication transactions including structuring due diligence and negotiation.

Develop and implement capitalraising strategies tailored to client needs and market conditions.

Coordinate with banks NBFCs credit funds and institutional investors to facilitate syndication deals.

Financial Analysis & Structuring

Conduct indepth financial modeling capital structure analysis and risk assessment to support debt transactions.

Research and analyze complex sectors businesses and investment opportunities to identify optimal financing solutions.

Evaluate client financials creditworthiness and market positioning to recommend tailored debt solutions.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders investors and financial institutions to drive deal flow.

Work closely with internal teams including legal compliance and risk to ensure smooth transaction .

Advise clients on debt structuring refinancing and restructuring strategies.

Transaction Documentation & Presentations

Prepare highquality pitch books capital structure analyses debt profiles and credit memos to support transactions.

Develop sales memos and roadshow presentations for investor and lender engagement.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in debt structuring.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or an equivalent qualification.

Experience: 6 to 8 years in debt advisory investment banking or structured finance.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit markets debt instruments and capital market transactions.

Financial Expertise: Proficiency in financial modeling credit analysis and risk assessment.

Network & Relationship Management: Established relationships with lenders investors and financial institutions.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in structured debt transactions including project finance leveraged finance and refinancing.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to debt syndication and capital markets.

Strong analytical presentation and stakeholder management skills.
