Are you passionate about driving impactful logistics and IT projects in an international setting Do you thrive in managing SAPbased initiatives that shape global supply chain strategies Join our Distribution & Transportation (D&T) team and take the lead in highimpact logistics transformation projects.
Were looking for a highly experienced IT Project Manager Logistics to oversee the planning and of complex initiatives across warehousing automation and SAP implementation aligning with our global logistics roadmap.
Tasks
- Lead and manage logisticsfocused projects from concept to mainly across Europe with the potential to support projects in North America and Asia.
- Translate strategic supply chain goals into executable SAP logistics initiatives that support business growth channel transformation (e.g. D2C) and cost optimization.
- Design business cases define project scope align stakeholders and monitor KPIs budgets risks and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams including logistics operations and IT as well as external vendors and system integrators.
- Define new logistics concepts based on data analysis including warehouse automation levels and system requirements.
- Oversee SAP logistics implementations (eWM MM SD) including testing interface setup and golive support.
- Ensure change management and training plans are integrated into project rollout.
- Facilitate seniorlevel steering committee meetings and communicate progress effectively.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT project management ideally within logistics or supply chain environments
- Solid understanding of supply chain logistics warehousing and intralogistics (including automation solutions)
- Handson experience with SAP systems preferably with modules such as eWM MM or SD
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a strong advantage
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data using tools like Excel Power BI or similar analytics platforms
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken); basic German is an advantage for collaboration in DACH region.
- Structured proactive and detailoriented project leader.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex data for decisionmaking.
- Resilient under pressure with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
- Experience working in international crossfunctional teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally depending on project needs.
