Job Description
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am4:59am)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform ground labor and assist equipment operators in the cleaning of chicken houses at various locations.
- Dump feed out of pan feeders.
- Raise and lower equipment.
- Prep house for equipment operators by raising water and feed lines.
- Open and close house end doors as needed.
- Separate caked litter from good litter from house corners walls and center posts with fork.
- Shovel cement slabs in front of chicken houses free of litter/manure.
- Adhere to and maintain sanitation biosecurity and safety practices.
Additional Job Functions:
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
- Must have dependable transportation and work at various locations.
- Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds.
- Must have the willingness and ability to accept additional responsibility to include learning and operating all chicken house cleaning equipment including tractors and other equipment.
- Be able to work efficiently without direct supervision and have good time management skills.
- Must be able to follow all company standards guidelines and policies including but not limited to Safety Rules of Conduct etc.
- Ability to workdays evenings weekends holidays and overtime hours.
