Job Description
- Design develop and optimize biophysical biochemical and cellular assays to evaluate the therapeutic potential of rationally designed targeted small molecules. These assays will facilitate project teams in developing structureactivity relationships as part of hittolead and lead optimization efforts.
- Develop innovative proposals to facilitate the adoption of new technological approaches and capabilities.
- Document experimental design analysis and interpretation of data in an ELN and LIMS system
- Stay up to date with the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field
- Author technical reports and presentations to communicate data and analyses
- Add to Deciphera culture of collaboration and shared mission to solve complex biological problems
Qualifications :
- A PhD in Biochemistry or related field with 3 years of biotech or pharma industry experience
- Indepth knowledge of assay design principles and HTS using biophysical methods
- Experience programming automated laboratory instruments including ECHO Bravo and multimode plate readers
- Proficiency with biophysical techniques such as protein MS SPR ITC MST DSF
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Additional Information :
Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $107000.00 $148000.00. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors including but not limited to depth of experience education skillset overall performance and/or location.
