Position Summary
The Banquet Server is responsible for proper table setup table service for guests and knowledge of menu to be served. This person will apply all safe food handling principles as they pertain to this position. This person will work with management and team members to instill and foster the value of The Inns Mission Statement. Duties And Responsibilities
Setup of food area for service. Serve guests and clean plates in a courteous manner. Maintain a clean and neat work and service area including removal of dishes and breakdown of dining room after service. Perform setup and service for special functions. Responsible for setup of buffets/food areas as listed on BEO . Knowledge of menu and basic ingredients in food items including allergy awareness. Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Formal Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent . Specific Job Knowledge: Basic knowledge of food items cleaning practices and simple food preparation. Minimum Work Experience: 1 year food service experience preferred Work Skills: Oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as in a group under general supervision. Excellent customer service skills
