The EI Office Assistant (also known as Intake Specialist) organizes the referral process for an assigned area of children entering the First Steps Early Intervention Program and maintains the childs electronic record in the online database. (CSIS).
Job duties include answering the phone and email scheduling appointments interviewing parents or guardians of children to gather medical history customer service assist with insurance documentation complete data entry and greet customers for appointments.
This fulltime position works in an office setting Monday through Friday 8:00am 4:30pm.
No Evenings No Weekends No Holidays!
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High school Diploma / GED
Two 2 years related experience in a Human Services or Early education field
Demonstrated ability to complete basic computer tasks or Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Current drivers license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle as needed
Preferred:
Associates degree or equivalent 60 Credits) from college/university or technical school and one 1 year related experience
Bachelors Degree in Early Intervention Early Childhood Special Education Family and Child Studies Child Development and Family Relations Speech Pathology or similar major.
