Leidos is looking for a Senior Systems Integrator to support a large U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) program. The Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is responsible for enforcing federal antitrust laws and promoting fair competition in the marketplace. The Systems Integrator will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining integration solutions using MuleSoft and API management technologies. You will work with both business and technical teams to develop strategies for integrating disparate systems and applications ensuring data flows seamlessly and securely across platforms. Your expertise will guide the architecture of integration solutions ensure adherence to best practices and provide mentorship to junior team members. This work is located onsite in the DC area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable highperformance integration solutions using MuleSoft and API technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and develop appropriate solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Develop integration strategies that enable system interoperability and ensure smooth data exchange between various applications platforms and cloudbased services.
• Design and manage APIs (RESTful SOAP etc. using MuleSoft API Gateway to expose and consume services securely and efficiently.
• Implement API security policies such as OAuth JWT and other authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Monitor test and optimize APIs for performance scalability and reliability.
• Lead the development and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform ensuring best practices for reusability and scalability.
• Develop MuleSoft connectors for various enterprise systems and thirdparty applications to ensure smooth and efficient data transfers.
• Ensure that MuleSoft ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) solutions align with business requirements and technical constraints.
• Work with Anypoint Studio to create integration flows transformation logic and error handling procedures.
• Continuously monitor the performance of integrations and identify areas for optimization in terms of speed scalability and reliability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for integrationrelated issues and provide expert advice on the best integration practices and strategies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive integration documentation including architecture diagrams configuration guides and operational procedures.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in integration technologies particularly MuleSoft API management and cloud integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field and 12 years of related experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of experience in systems integration with a strong background in API management and MuleSoft.
• Proven expertise in integrating systems using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including Mule ESB Anypoint Studio and Mule connectors.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing APIs (RESTful SOAP) including API security and versioning strategies.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns data transformation and serviceoriented architecture (SOA).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and integrating cloudbased applications.
• Proficiency in Java and MuleSoftspecific languages (DataWeave).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in the context of integration.
• Knowledge of integration tools and technologies such as JMS MQ SOAP REST and File Transfer Protocols.
• Ability to collaborate with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Ability to provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members drive integration projects and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document complex integration solutions and present them to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve integration issues efficiently.

Desirable Skills:

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Architect certification.
• Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and integration of microservices using MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with eventdriven architecture and tools like Kafka RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.
